VEGAPULS C 23 radar sensor
VEGAPULS C 23 is a very accurate radar level sensor with a measuring range of up to 30 m suitable for water and industrial applications.

Areas of application
Non-contact level measurement of bulk materials.
The sensor is able to measure liquids, even under high pressure and at extreme temperatures. It can therefore be used to monitor the level of wastewater sumps. The sensor is also suitable for applications with the highest hygienic requirements. The measurement is not affected by condensation on the sensor or foam on the measured level.
When measuring bulk materials, the sensor is resistant to both acoustic interference during filling and high dust and dust adhering to the sensor
Measurement principle
The sensor transmits a frequency modulated radar signal via an antenna system. The signal frequency changes sawtooth. The transmitted signal reflected from the medium is received by the antenna as an echo with a changed frequency. The frequency change is proportional to the measured distance.
